Mathieu and his middle name Nimrod was born in 1990 in Saint Denis in the Paris suburbs of Two parents born in Guadeloupe.

He is the grandson of a university professor of French and Creole author of several books intended for learning the Creole language under the name of Sylviane Telchid.

Still from her mother’s belly, she takes the plane with her older brother to the Metropolis to join her marry looking for a job in Paris. He was born at the Delafontaine Hospital in Saint Denis. Mathieu was the son of 5 children who was born in out of Guadeloupe. At the age of 1 year old,  he returned to Guadeloupe where a little brother would come into the world.

 

It is in Basse terre Bebian that he gone to his primary school class where he attended an athletics club named Citizen club, he was the youngest musician member of the carnival collective Voukoum as an acute drummer.

 

On a trip to La Désirade at the age of 7 years old in 1997, he lost his closest cousin to the age of 3 years old with whom he was all the time, in a terrible way. Mathieu In shock, his mother sent him to live with his grandmother in 93 in the Paris suburbs where he done a year.

Back in Guadeloupe in 1999 he spended 3 years in Bebian basse terre where he finished his elementary school and practice Thai boxing in club with his 2 brothers and Bodyboard with his friends, to finish with tennis club in Saint-claude.

In 2002 he’s been living with his grandmother with his older brother in the 93 in the Paris suburbs a 2nd time where he will perform his 6th school class in Clichy sous bois but will change college after a fight that his older brother had with a student for his Caribbean origin.

 

Appreciated by others and hated by some, Mathieu fights this time victim of racism during a football soccer Unss game with a student in 5th school class at Raincy.

 

Passionate about extreme sports since his youngest age, he spends his time in skateparks where he practices skateboarding and roller Blade. Fan of yahama he did motorcycle cross and mountain biking in the woods with his uncle from an early age.

 

After a trip to Les Menuires in « Les Alpes » with his brothers, he makes snowboarding a dream sport that he wishes to repeat as many times as possible in adulthood.

 

Still in France, he spends his time playing soccer and baseball in his city with his friends. He takes an annual subscription to the Cosanostra Skatepark with his brother where he will have his 1st Blade roller competition. Alternately, he joined a Handball club in Clichy sous bois.

In 2004 Mathieu will once again fly to do his 4th school class in Guadeloupe at Saint Claude where he will fight with a student who judged him different. Lacking space reserved for extreme sports, he practiced canoeing in club and soccer.

 

His difference which at the time was appreciated by girls but hated by boys makes him change middle school to make his 3rd to saint anne in 2005 where he will fight with another student who found him different from the Guadeloupeans.

 

2 month later, his mother sent him to live with his uncle in Montrouge in 92 suburb Paris. It is there that he discovers his passion for the automobile with classmates, he draws cars, frequent the car show and tuning. He wants to become a car designer and is interested in rallying. Mathieu practices mountain biking to go skateboarding in Porte d'Orléans and Bercy.

 

Very young he also walks in the streets of Paris from the arrival of the first electric scooter still sold only by Chinese at the price of 29,99 $ . It was then that he met his cousins with whom he participated in several street basketball tournaments. Notably the basketball tournament Carpentier Paris.

It is then that he comes back to live in Guadeloupe to carry out all these years high schools in Gerville réache in Basse terre in 2006. He’s in the high school chess club.

 

Under the name of artist Lipton, Mathieu has always been passionate about music and began singing in Saint-Claude in his city where he will evolve in the group SMC (Sector maudit Choisy ) which will change its name thereafter to be called (Ghetto gangs) led by Skan Maker, He will perform only somes songs in the band.

 

Mathieu in Terminale class meets Nicola dit Sapy with whom he discovers the pleasure of recording music be even. His friend Sapy creates his own group "Voodoo Studio" alone and offers Mathieu to perform a song. Mathieu is more involved in music.

He will play in a basketball club named BTB as a 3-point shooter fan, Michael Jordan and Riggie Miller. Mathieu was also a member of a soccer club called Fumerole as a forward where he played as the youngest Regular to be outclassed in the Senior category.

So he played two football practices and two basketball practices a week. He played one game on Saturday and one game on Sunday. Mathieu was all along his high school in the class called «Aps» which included all the best athletes of the high school. He also participated in high school football tournaments and Unss games inter high school football championship of Guadeloupe where they finished the last year, 2nd on the podium after the penaltys.

After obtaining his baccalaureate économic and social in 2008, he went to the University of Nanterre to study Staps to become a sports teacher. Mathieu in the Crous residence worked part-time to support himself. He worked in a self, then in the building under demolition, in a cinema called Ugc in La Défense, as a pizza polyvalent agent and delivery man in a pizzeria and finally in a supermarket where he unpacked and stored the products.

He creates his first homedstudio and joins a gym Club in Cergy prefecture in the suburbs of Paris.

He tried the experiment in a regional football club in team 2. After a training test the coach passed him in first team. During the test match nobody wanted to pass the ball to him, the coach replaced him. Mathieu went back to live in the Antilles after 3 years of studies in 2011

 

He is now hospital agent for 12 years in a hospital in Guadeloupe where he had dozens of accidents including several serious motorcycle and car and saw one close friend commit suicide and 2 friends died for injuries by firearm including one on the day of his mother’s wedding. He joins a gym club in "Bas du bourg" in Guadeloupe.

 

Rejected in Guadeloupe and in the Parisian suburbs from some people for his double person, Mathieu took refuge in the music and spent time with the same friends without mixing.

 

He set up his first clothing brand called Telkel in 2012. After several years of musics videos, he sees his middle name compared to a famous King years before jesus Christ nicknamed Nimrod on YouTube .

He creates again a Homestudio with which he performs and produces other artists. Mathieu likes sharing and is produced by other studio and production as "Dp studio" at Abymes, "Voodoo studio" at Vieux habitant, "Digital production" at Vieux Habitant, "Skan maker at Saint-claude, "M Filmz" directed by manuelito and other Studio throughout Guadeloupe.

 

He decides to make his middle name a name composed with his brand giving Nimrod Telkel and changes his brand by «Tolo» synonymous with bull pricked in the back constantly by men.

He perseveres and believes in himself, he releases his first album in 2018 entitled " Mon Tour " (in rap, trap hip hop and dancehall), his second album in 2021 titled " Chewi " (in zouk and dancehall). Mathieu releases several freestyle and single all throughout 2022 as well as an Album called "Transition" (in Reggae).

In 2023 Mathieu wrote 2 books entitled " Le plaisir d'aimer " and " Paris des Antilles " not marketed then went to Paris realized a dozen video clips grouping the Caribbean culture.

 

Since his accident on a motorcycle he decides to go to the gym more often not able to perform certain activities. He lost his father prematurely and his grandmother Sylviane TELCHID afterwards. 

 

He now compares himself to a persecuted bull and a lion most often alone. He changes the logo of his brand  "Tolo" by adding a lion next to it. Mathieu changed homes 19 times during his life, he did not stop moving until the age of 31, he is now 33.

Today Nimrod Telkel says Mathieu is a songwriter and composes, performs and produces his own music in several languages with the help of Beatmakers from around the world and engages in some sport in a light way.

He currently directs his own Image as a versatile artist touching on many world musical artistic cultures.
